let it rip 顺其自然/去干吧！


The expression is a form of slang meaning “just do it”.  Also it refers to making a vehicle or machine move very fast.  let it rip的字面意思是“让它成熟吧”，引申为“不要担心，别理会后果去做；顺其自然”。同时，也表示开车（或其他机器）的时候，不限速度开足马力前进，这时候常用let her rip表示。

Examples:
Time to start.  Let her rip. 时间到了，全速前进！

You needn’t do anything to change the situation, just let it rip. 你不需要做任何事情来改变情形，顺其自然吧。

Research has found that “letting it rip” with anger actually escalates anger and aggression and does nothing to help you. 让愤怒“顺其自然”实际上会加剧愤怒和挑衅，对你没有任何帮助。
