A Man After my Own Heart 情投意合/气味相投之人

This phrase is used when you meet someone or hear of someone else who thinks along the same lines as you do—someone who values the same things in life or might have the same goals/hopes/dreams that you do or has done something exactly how you’ve done something in the past.  这个短语可以用来形容那些和你情投意合的人，如你有了新奇的想法，但是有个人却和你不谋而合。类似的断表达还有you took the words right out of my mouth” 和 “you read my mind”。
 
For example, just before I could answer a question, my new friend responded with exactly what I was thinking.  I could say, “You took the words right out of my mouth” because my new friend said exactly what I intended to say, and then continue with, “you’re a woman after my own heart!”  在我回答问题前，我的新朋友已经替我说出了我所想的。我就可以说：“你正说了我想说的”，然后接着说“你和我真是情投意合阿！”
