约翰-列侬私人马桶欲拍卖 起拍价约1千英镑






    著名摇滚乐队“披头士”中已故成员约翰-列侬的私人马桶将被拍卖，据悉起拍价在1千英镑左右。
    据香港“文汇报”消息，这个瓷制马桶是约翰-列侬于1971年与太太小野洋子搬往纽约定居前，在英国家中使用的坐厕，据估计拍卖价由1千英镑起。拍卖组织的Stephen Bailey表示，这当然是一个较为特殊的拍卖项目。除此之外，“披头士”成员保罗麦卡尼在利物浦家中的黑白照片的将被拍卖，照片中的保罗当时只有21岁。

A mono-sound copy of Two Virgins, which he recorded with Yoko Ono, is expected to fetch at least £2,500.
When the LP was released in November 1968 it sold in brown paper bags because the sleeve featured a naked picture of the famous couple. There are thought to be only a couple of hundred copies.
Also up for grabs is Lennon's porcelain toilet from Tittenhurst Park, his Berkshire home until 1971. It is estimated at up to £1,000. Auction organiser Stephen Bailey said: "It's certainly one of the more unusual items."
Fans of Sir Paul McCartney can bid on a black and white photo of him taken outside his home in Liverpool, when he was about 21.
There are 295 lots in the auction next Saturday at Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts.
