      因为新厂房在五公里外的开发区，我联系了采购部的车子，说是上午10点有一辆车去新厂房，让我随车一块儿过去。可等我挂掉电话，着手准备数码相机时，却发现由于好久没用，相机早就没电了，我只得调整计划先充电。
      等到充好电，已经快11点了，我想现在去拍照，很可能回来时，老板还在午休。如果中午去拍，同样能够在老板下午上班时把照片给他看。于是，我联系到一位有摩托车的同事，让他中午带我去拍照。上午快下班时，老板打电话来问照片拍回来了没有，得知我还没有去拍时，立刻挂断了电话。
我感觉事态严重了。中午吃过饭，我便去找那位同事，可他吃了饭后人却不知道去哪了，我又没有他的手机，联系不上。如果打车过去，来回的费用得自己掏，一个来回就要30元，一天的活就等于白干了。左等右等一个小时过去了，同事还没回来。这时候，正好碰上老板下楼来吃饭，他问我怎么还在单位，我羞愧得无言以对。

        一开始，对于老板的要求和决定，我怎么也想不通，甚至想一走了之。可是，当我心平气和地琢磨起这句话时，却发现这话越听越有道理。渐渐地我摸出了门道，抓到了工作中的小窍门。过去，每周我都要在报纸上发一篇以老板行踪、要求为主的企业动态报道，由于缺少素材，写起来很痛苦，每次快要出刊了，还没有通过老板的审查，十分被动。后来，我一改每周一篇的做法，而是根据老板平时的讲话，通过采访老员工、老板身边的人，收集到很多素材。然后，根据这些素材，写好一篇，就拿去给老板看，不知不觉就整理出了十多篇，每次出刊时就用一篇，再也没让“火烧屁股”的事情发生，也真正做到了把工作完成在“昨天”。
